Itinerary
On arrival at Siliguri (NJP) railway station or Bagdogra (IXB) airport meet & greet by our representative. Transfer from Siliguri/Bagdogra to Jaigaon/Phuntsholing at Bhutan border. Check into hotel & rest of the day is tea leisure.
Today, we will immerse ourselves in the cultural and natural beauty of Thimphu. We start our day with a visit to the Buddha Dordenma Statue, Royal Botanical Garden, Ludrong Memorial Garden and many more places.
Visit the National Memorial Chorten, built in the honor of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, then the largest Budhha Statue and the beautiful views of thimpu valley. There after the Motithang Takin preserve and The Tashichho Dzong. Later visit Simtokha Dzong and The Handicrafts Emporium. Then back to hotel.
Transfer to Punakha. On the way take a stop at the Dochula Pass and enjoy the views of the Higher Himalayas. Then visit Chimi Lhakhang "The Temple of Fertelity" and Punakha Dzong.
Today Sightseeing tour to Gangstey. Visit Serene Valley, Phobjikha Valley, Gangstey Gompa Monastery, Wangdiphodrang Dzong. Then back to Hotel.
Enjoy a City Sightseeing tour. Visit the Drukgyel Dzong, The ancient Buddhist Temple Kichu Lhakhang and more. Then back to hotel.
Trek to the Taktsang Monastery. Visit to Satsam Chencho Tshongkhang. Enjoy a 2 hours horse ride passing by the pine forest and prayer flags to the Monastery view point. Next visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum. Then back to hotel.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Phuentsholling for departure. From there switch your transfer to Paro Airport for a flight back home. We hope you had a memorable experience during the tour. Safe travels and have a wonderful journey ahead!
